Hey y'all, some of you I have on Facebook and you still know I am alive.  To those who don't have me, you now know I am still alive.  

Just thought I'd pop in and say that I will be back sometime in the near future on a regular basis.  Right now I have no computer, so that makes things a bit difficult and you can only do so much from a smart phone.  Anyway, not much is new, but it's been a rough year for me.  On June 6th I lost my father to a hemorrhagic stroke.  I hadn't talked to him in about six years and that day I had been thinking about calling him.  I'd always thought I'd have time to patch things up.  I cannot explain the guilt I feel and the emptiness I have knowing that I will never be able to speak to him again.  I am not the person I was before he died.  That's not a bad thing necessarily, it's not like I'm depressed, just have a bit of a different view of things now.  The thing that bothers me most is that he was dead for at least two days before anyone found him.

Sorry to be a buzz kill, but how have you guys been?

I'm not dead.  I haven't and won't be around much.  Nothing bad going on, just life.  ^____^

Just when I thought I was exhausted enough, I've decided to take on a four day second job starting Friday!  Which blows right through my day off, extending my 13 straight days of work to 20...  

I'm going to be delivering Valentine's Day flowers for an acquaintance's brother's flower shop.  It pays $8 an hour, under the table, and a dozen roses.  I will be driving a cargo van they will rent and they will pay for the fuel, and I get a helper for the two heaviest days (a funny young lady that works as a waitress at Denny's).  All in all it sounds like it will be at least 20 hours of work, about 10 of it on Monday alone.  Why, in God's name, would someone who is absolutely exhausted from work do such a crazy thing, you ask?  It's simple, with that money, I am going to get a prescription for Chantix again and quit smoking once and for all.

The last time I took it I was losing massive amounts of sleep, something I refuse to do without good reason.  Shortly after stopping the meds, I started smoking again, but started sleeping again.  A few weeks ago I decided to stop smoking again, without Chantix, it was all going pretty well... except for the sleep loss.  Yeah, so as it turns out, the meds weren't making me lose sleep, the lack of nicotine was.  This time, though, I'm just going to have to tough it out, because I have to quit smoking.  I just have to.

I am exhausted.
